Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; Ephesians 5:21-25
Dear Lord, thank you for the blessings of this life. Thank you for all that you do for me without my knowledge. Thank you for bringing me closer to you and thank you for showing compasion and love for me with the death of your son Jesus Christ. Thank you for providing me with someone I can share my life within a marriage relationship. Lord, I ask that you guide me in my marriage. Show me how not to be angery and have a loving and compasionate heart in all that I do. Show me how to support my wife as she becomes the supportive wife I need. Show me how to make descisions with her together through discussion and prayer. Give me courage to allow my wife to manage our home as you show her Lord. Show me Lord that you own everything we have and if I commit myself to you daily, and our marriage will be blessed with happiness and favorable circumstances in all things. (insert here special request) I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord & Savior. Amen
